Clinical Supervision

I am an approved clinical supervisor with the CACFT. I work professionally as a clinical supervisor supporting therapists in community health, private practice, and graduate-level students doing practicum placements. I have also worked as an instructor in the MMFT program at the University of Winnipeg.

My approach to supervision is collaborative and builds on the therapist’s strengths and wisdom. I genuinely enjoy clinical supervision and the process of considering how multiple factors may be influencing the therapy process, including the self of the therapist, while assisting therapists to grow their capacities.

I’m open to working with masters-level therapists from multiple training backgrounds and am knowledgable on several therapy models. I have a particular interest in a non-pathologizing (non medical-model) approach, and generally use an integrated model of attachment-based therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) in my own practice.
